| metadata.dc.description.resumo: | O presente trabalho monográfico trata das alterações na pronúncia da língua inglesa feitas por um grupo de alunos cursando o nível básico de uma escola de idiomas de Brasília no primeiro semestre de 2009. A ideia é levantar a hipótese de que a transferência das estruturas silábicas da língua materna para a língua estrangeira pode contribuir de alguma forma para que uma vogal intrusiva seja acrescentada no final da pronúncia de algumas palavras. |
| Abstract: | This paper deals with errors in the pronunciation of the English language made by a group of students enrolled in the basic level in a language institute of Brasília. The aim of this work is to present the hypothesis that syllabic transferences from the mother tongue to the foreign language somehow contribute for the addition of an intrusive vowel at the end of some words. |
