Abstract

This article is a bibliographical study that he/she has as objective understands the social worker's performance in the reception institutions, tends as central focus this professional's performance in the juridical institutions. The research was accomplished in a qualitative way, of exploratory nature. In the article it was used books, goods, academic works and legislation. They are the social workers that accomplish the bridge among the children that are in the reception system and the external middle, it is necessary always cares and attention in the activities that will be accomplished. The Social Service appears with the purpose of to guarantee and to assure the rights of the society and of children and adolescents.
