Práticas religiosas: um estudo sobre as estratégias de inclusão social com população em situação de rua

Abstract

The main objective of this article is to review the literature on religious practices with street people, aiming to understand the strategies of social inclusion adopted. The u was based on the assumptions of the critical review of literature, for a more in-depth approach to its object. The conclusion reached was that the discussion of religious practice in the inclusion of people in a street situation has not yet gained status as an academic object. In the few references found, the recorded debate occurred in the most general bulge of interventions with the street population. Seen in a critical way, these interventions are humane, assistentialist, individualizing insofar as they do not aim at the transformation of the reality of the subjects and the improvement of the policies aimed at this population. These characteristics make these religious actions have a low potential for social inclusion.
