Revisão integrativa sobre a incidência de infecção de sítio cirúrgico em mulheres submetidas a cesarianas em diferentes hospitais brasileiros entre 2002 a 2014

Abstract

The surgical site infection in caesarean sectioned women occurs up till 30 days after the caesarean section. These infections are classifedas: superficial, deep of organ or cavity. This study objectify to make an integrative revision about the incidence of surgical site infection in women who underwent caesarean section surgery in different Brazilian hospitals between 2013 to 2015. This study is a literature review of the theory reference about the theme post caesarean section surgery in nine hospitals around the country. The references were obtained from the LILACS, MEDLINE, SCIELO, PUBMED and CAPES databases. The analysed variables were: risk factors, surgery procedure time, comorbidity, local of the infections, performance of diagnostics, internment time, signs, symptoms and the use of antibiotictherapy. The studied risk factors associated with the hospital acquired infections were HTN, HIV infection, DM, tabagism and obesity. Regarding the signs and symptoms studied, fever and hyperemia were most frequent in superficial infections, and in the deep ones, drainage of pus and pain on palpation. Most of the superficial infections were diagnosed after discharge, while deep ones during the internment. The time of interment of the caesarean sectioned women was smaller or equal to 10 days. Regarding the surgical proceeding time, most were superior to 57 minutes. In relation to the antibioticotherapy, almost all used cephalosporins. The caesarean section is a risky procedure when considering the chances of acquiring hospital acquired infections.
