Avaliação dos conhecimentos adquiridos pelas gestantes sobre trabalho de parto durante a assistência pré-natal

Abstract

This research has as objective to analyze the level of knowledge acquired for the pregnancies on work of childbirth, and childbirth during the prenatal assistance. The study it has qualitative character with approach of the social representations. The information had been gotten by interviews half-structuralized with puérperas, that previously they had adhered to the program of prenatal in the Center of Health Nº 02 of the Ceilândia. The analysis of the gotten material made possible the sprouting of three thematic categories, through which it was possible to desvelar the interest of the woman for the gestation, the ways gotten during the prenatal assistance and its knowledge on childbirth work. The gotten results had demonstrated that the women had not received any specific orientations on the process to give birth during the nursing consultation, and the lack of information on this subject generated in them fears and anxiety at the moment of the childbirth.
