Avaliação do gerenciamento de resíduos de serviços de saúde em órgãos públicos do DF

Abstract

The theme of the present study is the healthcare residues service management in three institutions of health services (WHS – Waste in Healthcare Services) of Brasília - DF. The WHS are generated residues, in all the services related with, the human or animal health, attendance such as hospitals, laboratories, health centers, clinics, veterinarians and others. The management of the WHS has like an objective, minimize the production of residues and provide to the generated residues, a safe conduction, aming the employees's protection, the preservation of the public health and of the environment. The general objective of the project research is to evaluate the management of residues of services of health of the units of ready attendances, the Medical Department of the Camera of the Deputies - DEMED, the Clerkship of Medical Attendance - SAMS of the Federal Senate and the Clerkship of Integrated Services - SIS of the Supreme Federal Tribunal. The method used to reach the proposed objective were the accomplishment of visits in each ready attendance of the study object. In each visit interviews and applied questionnaires, were realized with the responsible people for the management of WHS and the cleaning employees. In the visits systematic observations and registrations were accomplished by pictures, information a as obtained through understanding works, training and accompaniment programs with the employees of DEMED and of SAMS. The results obtained, indicated problems related with managemet of WHS in all the health units studied, because through the comparisons done with the ideal structures, recommended by the effective resolutions, Conama no. 358 / 2005 and RDC no. 306 / 2004, could conclude that, the three health establishments present noconformities with the norms.
