| Title: | O fator idade e a aprendizagem do ILE: uma análise do adulto aprendiz |

| Summary: | A aprendizagem da língua inglesa ocorre de forma distinta na infância, adolescência e na fase adulta. Levando isso em consideração, decidiu-se através dessa pesquisa aprofundar os estudos na fase adulta. O objetivo dessa pesquisa é verificar se o fator idade interfere ou não na aprendizagem do inglês como língua estrangeira e se os alunos adultos ficam em desvantagens nesse processo se comparados as outras idades. A presente pesquisa investiga esses fatores, e para atingir seus objetivos, utilizou-se um questionário fechado, do tipo likert scale, mais conhecido como Beliefs about Language Learning Inventory (BALLI) e uma pergunta dissertativa ao final desse questionário. Após a análise dos dados obtidos na pesquisa foi possível inferir que a idade pode até interferir no processo de aprendizagem dos alunos, mas não pode ser encarada como um fator limitante no aprendizado de uma língua estrangeira para os adultos. |
| Abstract: | Learning the English language occurs in a different way in the childhood, adolescence and for adults. Taking it into consideration, a research about these issues was released in order to explain in details the studies in the adult stage. The aim of this research is to verify if the age interferes or not in the English learning as a foreign language and also if adults learners present some disadvantages in this process when compared to the other ages. The present research investigates those issues, and to reach its aims, a closed questionnaire, based on the likert scale, best know as Beliefs about Language Inventory (BALLI), and a question to be answered at the end of the questionnaire were used. After the analyze of the data achieved with the research, it was possible to reach a conclusion that the age may interferes in the learning process for students, but it might not be faced as a limiting factor for the adults foreign language learning |
