Imigração no Brasil: século XIX até a terceira década do século XX

Abstract

This paper has the premise of exposing the historical context of Brazil in the XIX century and, from that, explain what were the reasons that led to the increase of the number of immigrants that arrived in Brazil until the third decade of the XX century, besides also explaining the reasons why europeans from multiple nationalities encouraged the emigratory movement to America, and mostly to Brazil, and based on that information, demonstrate with data about the number of immigrants that arrived to the country, the impact that that movement had on the society and the economy of Brazil from the XIX century until 1930.
