| Title: | A atuação do assistente social no Poder Judiciário frente à adoção |

| Summary: | O presente estudo teve por objetivo analisar e compreender a realidade do trabalho do assistente social – cujo poder decisório é essencial para a questão –, salientando sua importância no processo de adoção. Neste sentido, é sabido que o campo sociojurídico é um espaço de atuação do assistente social. Assim, fez-se uma pesquisa bibliográfica, que apresentou três aspectos da adoção, quais sejam: 1) família adotante; 2) estudo psicossocial; e, 3) adoção homoafetiva. Concluiu-se que a adoção, além de consolidado através do Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente, é uma ação que, além de legal, possui outros diversos fatores envolvidos, como, por exemplo, a afetividade e o vínculo. |
| Abstract: | The purpose of this study was to analyze and understand the reality of the work of the social worker - whose decision-making power is essential for the issue -, emphasizing its importance in the adoption process. In this sense, it is known that the socio-legal field is a space of action of the social worker. Thus, a bibliographic research was done, which presented three aspects of adoption, namely: 1) adoptive family; 2) psychosocial study; and, 3) homoaffective adoption. It was concluded that adoption, besides being consolidated through the Statute of the Child and Adolescent, is an action that, in addition to being legal, has several other factors involved, such as affectivity and bonding. |
