O Jornal Nacional na última semana do impeachment da presidente Dilma Rousseff

Abstract

This study addresses the implicit and explicit aspects present in the reports broadcast by Rede Globo, but specifically the Jornal Nacional, in the last week of the impeachment process of former president Dilma Rousseff, August 26 to 31, 2016. To develop it, the theory of analysis of pragmatic journalistic narrative and the methodology of content analysis based on qualitative research were chosen. Eight reports were taken, taken in the air, in a total of 1h22'36''hours (one hour, twenty two minutes and thirty six seconds). It was verified that the National Journal prioritized the theme in all six editions. Thus it was possible to observe in detail the approach, the framing, the use of textual expressions, images and the intonation of the respective reports.
