A International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance como precursora de um regime internacional de memória e educação do Holocausto (1998-2017)

Abstract

From the end of World War II, in particular with the creation of the United Nations, the international system was structured in such a way that non-state actors found openness to act and influence the dynamics of international relations. Thus, in the mid-1980s, studies on International Regimes came to be addressed in the field of study of International Relations. Thus, these studies could analyze a certain network of international actors who work on the subject of education and preservation of the memory of the Holocaust, in the present research. This network of international actors was established in 1998, moment when ITF (International Task Force) was criated, and in 2012 would be established as an Intergovernmental Organization called the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA). The purpose of this research is to understand if the creation of the IHRA meant the genesis of a specific international regime in the international system by analyzing the dynamics that circumscribe this determined network of international actors, aiming also to analyze the variable that underlies its formation, which will allow to understand the social transformations in the system in the delimited temporal intersected.
