Modelo de Hodgkin-Huxley para o potencial de ação neuronal

Abstract

This paper discusses on the importance of the mathematical model of Hodgkin and Huxley for the beginning of Computational Neuroscience. For this reason, the mathematical modeling of the Hodgkin and Huxley for the action potential of neuronal was made. The behavior of the biological phenomenon described mathematically made it possible to program it in the Dev. C ++ software in order to simulate it and compare the results with the experimental ones. The equations presented in the model were programmed using the Euler method to obtain their respective solutions. The results generated by the program show that the characteristics of the action potential are in agreement with those obtained experimentally in a biological model.
