Detetive interativo: uma proposta de interatividade do cinema para a TV digital

Abstract

This research analyzes interactivity in digital TV, with a focus on the interface between film and television through fictional narratives. It starts from the observation that the Occident is at the stage of bridge, halfway from analog to digital. From that point on, the research seeks to understand the ongoing paradigm shift and aims to help to pave the way. The paper investigates the historical relationship between television and film, as well as the developments in interactivity in audiovisual media, in Brazil and abroad. The research also reflects on the film Rope, directed by Alfred Hitchcock, to propose a TV program that combines the playfulness of digital games to the experience of watching a movie at home. In doing so the paper explores issues such as linearity in audiovisual contents and the reinvention of practices of creating, watching and sharing TV.
