A importância da logística reversa no processo de reciclagem de embalagens PET

Abstract

The present research had the objective of obtaining information and data to portray issues related to the correct disposal of PET packaging, aligned to the role of reverse logistics and the sustainable consumption of the final consumer on this fact, in order to propose a more adequate solution to make the destination of these packages. It is evident today that there is a significant increase in the consumption of products that are allocated in recyclable packaging. For this reason, it is necessary to use the means and techniques to reuse these packages. It is on the basis of this question that the reverse logistics will play its role, with the purpose of making the appropriate destination of these packages, and through strategies, to define the solution. A field survey was carried out with the application of a questionnaire for the purpose of collecting relevant information and data on the proposed theme. The most suitable way to make the destination of the PET packaging, would be for the recycling companies, and the scavengers acting as intermediaries in this process.
