O emprego da logística reversa no setor turístico: reduzindo os impactos ambientais na cadeia produtiva do turismo

Abstract

The objective of this work is to investigate the contribution of reverse logistics to the reduction of negative environmental impacts, integrating the various sectors of the tourism production chain: attractions, transportation, lodging, food and commerce. The methodological procedures that were outlined by the bibliographic research and through exploratory research. It was concluded that the use of Reverse Logistics in the Tourism Production Chain should be able to unify actions to reduce the environmental impact of discarded materials (garbage), in order to guarantee: the correct destination of materials that have already lost their usefulness; to point out to them the importance of building their social responsibility; show that they should bother to know what destination the end user has given to their product after it is consumed and offer options to reuse it or give it a correct destination.
