| Title: | Mensuração da força de preensão palmar em atletas de handebol do Distrito Federal |

| Summary: | O presente trabalho teve como objetivo mensurar a força de preensão palmar em atletas femininas de handebol comparando-a com indivíduos do gênero feminino não atletas. Trata-se de um estudo observacional que fez uso do dinamômetro Jamar para coletar os dados. A faixa etária variando entre 18 e 25 anos, realizando o pareamento com um grupo controle de 30 indivíduos, respeitando gênero e idade. Observouse uma diferença estatísticamente significante ( p<0,05 ) entre a média de força da preensão palmar da mão direita de atletas em relação a mesma mão em indivíduos não atletas. Os autores desse estudo concluíram que a força de preensão palmar é maior na mão direita em relação a mão esquerda |
| Abstract: | The author elaborated the present study aiming to measure and define the palmar grip strength in handball female athletes compared with non-athletes individuals of the same gender. It is no obseving study that used the Jamar dynamometer for data collection. The subjects of this study were 30 handball female athletes within the age of 18 and 25 years and equalization was made with the control group of 30 individuals, respecting the gender and age. The authors concluded that the palmar grip strength is greater in the right hand than in the left hand for both groups. It was observed a statistically significant difference ( p<0,05 ) between the palm grip 2 force average for the right hand of the athletes when compared to the same hand in non-athletes individuals. |
