O papel do ACNUR na proteção internacional dos refugiados: dos desafios globais à realidade brasileira do início do século XXI

Abstract

The present work has the main objective of highlighting the role of UNHCR in the international protection of refugees, from an international perspective to the internal context. The specific objectives are: From World War II to the Creation of the United Nations, followed by The Action of the United Nations High Commissioner – UNHCR on the issue of refuge in the world and finally The Action of the UNHCR in Brazil. The main authors used were HIGA, website of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the website of the United Nations (UN). The research methodology used was descriptive research, the sources were primary and secondary.
