| Summary: | Este trabalho busca pesquisar e analisar as relações entre China e Estados Unidos, buscando entender as tensões entre 2016 a 2020 entre os dois países e suas razões para chegar onde estão. Através de bases teóricas, contexto histórico e análise do momento atual, analisa as medidas protecionistas adotadas no governo Trump. A observação através de bases teóricas relevantes da academia de Relações Internacionais sobre o tema permitem uma compreensão e análise crítica da relevância do tema no sistema internacional, entendendo como o protecionismo americano coloca em risco a posição americana em um mundo onde a China é um concorrente de grande relevância. |
| Abstract: | This work seeks to research and analyze the relations between China and the United States. Seeking to understand the current moment of tensions between the two countries and their reasons for getting where they are. Through theoretical bases, historical context and analysis of the current moment, it analyzes the protectionist measures adopted in the Trump administration. Observation through relevant theoretical bases of the Academy of International Relations on the theme, allows an understanding and critical analysis of the relevance of the theme in the international system, understanding how American protectionism puts the American position at risk in a world where China is a competitor of great relevance. |
