O alinhamento político do governo brasileiro com os Estados Unidos: uma análise dos anos de 2019 e 2020

Abstract

This paper explores the political alignment of the Brazilian government with the United States during the years of 2019 and 2020, seeking to show what were the effects of the Brazilian alignment with the USA in the same period. It also presents a description of definitions such as foreign policy, political alignment, autonomy and strategic partnership. In addition, an observation of the Brazilian historical context was made, observing the moments of alignment and autonomy of the governments. The methodology used was qualitative and exploratory, observing and presenting the Brazilian foreign policy and its relationship with the North Americans, in order to reach an understanding of the alignment relationship between Bolsonaro and Trump. The bibliography sought to use scientific articles, books, periodicals, government websites and podcasts. This study is justified by the relevance of being able to understand the situation of the relationship between two important nations of the American continent.
