A importância da música como ferramenta pedagógica no colégio militar de Brasília: o capital cultural

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the importance of music as a pedagogical tool in the Military Scholl of Brasília (CMB). Its goal is to enhance benefits of music education for the encouragement and development of cognitive, motor and sensory systems. This is an approach to the historical context in which the basic elements of music, such as harmony, melody and rhythm, have provided the man enchantment, mystery, knowledge and discoveries will be developed. It will also cover the different attempts to introduce the teaching of music in Brazil through laws and decrees. As the concerning that Cultural Capital is acquired through contact with the music contributes to the enrichment and expansion of the various areas of knowledge, those who receive this content humanistic are privileged because they develop a vision of expanded world. Thus, it is intended to draw attention to the importance of music as an essential vehicle in the construction and formation of more sensitive and oriented to cultural and humanistic values citizens. In the certainty of being more democratic citizens and concepts aimed at social inclusion.
