Estudo de caso: análise de patologias e diagnóstico estrutural em edificação de concreto armado

Abstract

This study was conducted in a building with structures in reinforced concrete that is unfinished and abandoned for about ten years located in the city of Riacho Fundo I, Federal District. In his design, the building has garage basement, a first floor shops, and on the upper floors, residential apartments. However, due to lack of investment, only the first three slabs were executed. The study aims to observe, analyze and solve existing conditions, verify that the implementation of structural parts is according to the projects and their ability to receive the efforts for which it was designed. During the project, after initial comments were noted some pathologies have expected, then it became the object of this study its causes and consequences. Most diseases were caused by water seepage which often occurred in the building, causing serious damage to the building. In the end, we came to the understanding of behavior for structural recovery, which was presented taking into account studies of the generators of diseases, in order to repair, terminate or reduce the causes identified. The completion of structural building analysis was that it presents serious instability problems on the x axis, when only analyzed the existing slabs, and the projection of the other floors, according to the project, this instability is even more pronounced, making it impossible to immediately structure with a high risk of collapse.
