| Summary: | Este artigo tem por objetivo analisar o papel da Educação na questão relacionada à criminalidade, partindo do pressuposto de que a simples atuação do Direito Penal tem se mostrado ineficiente para minimizar práticas delituosas que ferem a propositura da cidadania. O problema está no sistema de justiça criminal do país que não cumpre eficientemente o seu papel de corroborar com a “recuperação” dos indivíduos em conflito com a lei. A criação de novas políticas públicas, que valorizem o ser humano em sua integralidade, representa uma ferramenta eficaz de combate à criminalidade. Estas novas políticas públicas a serem criadas em âmbito nacional devem considerar a Educação como o núcleo das ações preventivas e de regeneração, tendo como consenso que o Direito Penal é ineficaz para a formação de seres humanos éticos e autônomos. Para abordar o objeto de estudo foi realizada pesquisa bibliográfica, no intuito de pontuar as relações existentes entre a Política Educacional vigente no país e os altos índices de criminalidade presente na sociedade. |
| Abstract: | This article aims to analyze the role of education as it relates to crime, on the assumption that the simple action of criminal law has proven ineffective to minimize criminal activities that hurt the bringing of citizenship. The problem is in the criminal justice system of the country that does not effectively fulfill its role to corroborate with the "recovery" of individuals in conflict with the law. The creation of new public policies that enhance the human being in its entirety, is an effective tool to fight crime. These new policies to be created at the national level should consider education as the core of preventive and regeneration, with the consensus that the criminal law is ineffective for the formation of ethical and autonomous human beings. To address the object of study was bibliographic research performed in order to punctuate the relationship between the current educational policy in the country and the high rates of this crime in society. |
